Remix Souffle
Everything you need to remix Souffle by Slipstream is free on this site. Take the vocal and build your own beat under it, or open the whole session and pull it apart.
What to download
- Tempo
- 130 BPM
- Half or double time
- 65 or 260 BPM
- Key
- E minor
- Camelot
- 9A
How to start
Set your project to 130 BPM and drop the vocal at the very start of bar one, so it lines up with the grid. Write around the hook first, since that is what people will remember.
Keys that work
E minor is home. G major uses the same notes, and A minor and B minor are one step away on the Camelot wheel, so they sit close too.
What you can do with it
My vocals, lyrics and the rest of my own work in it are free for any use. The beat belongs to its producer, so check their terms before releasing anything built on it.
