My inspirations
Each one gave me something specific and I still use all of it.
- Drake: refused to pick between singing and rapping.
- NAV: atmosphere, the closest single artist to the sound I am after.
- Brent Faiyaz: the coldness.
- Don Toliver: hooks.
- Playboi Carti: repetition.
- Future: you know who it is inside three seconds.
- Lil Skies and Landon Cube: the sung hook over a rapped verse.
- Juice WRLD, Lil Tecca and Travis Scott: deep in my liked songs.
- Also on the list: XXXTentacion, Young Thug, Gunna, NBA YoungBoy, Yung Bans, The Weeknd and LUCKI.
Where that leaves me
Nobody makes exactly the music I want to hear, so it is a stack. My own voice goes on top, because that is the one thing nobody else has.
